Mod/admin section

becuase we all have different opinions and ideas, i say instead of going ahead and individually saying 'yes' we should argu it out a bit in a mod/admin section. that way we don't get angry at eachother and there's no comfusion amung the members. also, only mod and admins will be aloud to post/veiw it.

To make a forum private (so only admins/mods can see), an admin needs to log into the control panel.

((Add the forum before doing this.))

Click "General."

Go to "Categories and Forums."

There will be two tabs at the top; Modify and Permissions. Choose "Permssions."

There will be a chart there right usergroups on the left side, going down, and permissions on the top, going right. Like this:

___________View & Read | Write & Reply | Special Messages | Moderation
Admin
Moderators
Members
Etc Etc


Next to each usergroup, there's a little box. Select the box for each usergroup and action that you want to be able to use.

For example, if you wanted to let admins view, read, write, and reply, you would check:

___________View & Read | Write & Reply | Special Messages | Moderation
Admin____________x__________x_______
Moderators
Members
Etc Etc


If you wanted admins to do all the actions, including moderation, check all the boxes.

If you want moderators to be able to read, reply, etc, just check their boxes, too.
